This tall project is 5.5 X 3 Inches and was thrown on the wheel. The project is a cylinder that gets wider at the top instead of going straight up. The glazes I used were a dark blue and a black dripped over the blue. I turned the tall project upside down once the blue glaze dried, and dripped the black glaze from to bottom so that it would give the effect of being pooled at the top and looking thicker at the top since it usually runs down. I really like how the glaze complements the shape of the project because the shape of this tall project is very simple, but the subtle color change in the glaze helps make it more appealing to the eye.
