This is my third theme choice project and is 5 X 3 inches. This is similar to my second theme choice project and is the same basic painting on the side. I made a simple vase on the wheel, but I wanted this project to have a simple shape, and different designs on it to attract the eye. I painted on branches coming from the bottom of the vase, and leaves on each branch. Then I painted lines on the top and bottom of the lip so that the green would match the green of the leaves and add a variety of shapes onto this one vase. I then glazed it with clear. I like this project because I like that the designs in it draw the eye, and the shape does not distract from the stains.

This is a theme project and is 6 X 4 inches. This is by far my favorite piece of art that I have ever made. I was very pleased with the shape when I made it. I have been leaning toward simple shapes and this one is more complex than usual. It is narrow at the bottom, comes out in the middle, and as it gets narrow again at the tip, there is a flared lip. Since this is one of my favorite shaped projects that I have made, I decided to paint on it as well. I used green and brown stain and started off by painting a tree. I then painted leaves all around the rest of the vase, and branches with leaves coming out from the inside. Inspiration for this project came from the change of the seasons from winter to spring, showing the green leaves and the new growth of spring. This is by far my favorite project.

This is my wheel and wheel project. This project is 4 X 5 inches. This project was made by throwing a basic bowl with a flared lip, then throwing a lid to fit onto that bowl. After that, I threw a spout and attached it to the bowl by scratching it and using slip as the glue. I then used my fingers to try to smooth the spout onto the rest of the project. After all of that, I pulled a handle and attached it to the opposite end than the spout. I added a butterfly onto the side of the spout. I know that my theme is nature, and I think that the combination of the shadow green and the butterfly really add the feeling of nature. I really like this teapot and I know that I will use it when I and going to drink tea or serve it. I love the shine of the shadow green on this project. If I could change one thing, it would be the size of the spout. I wish I would have made it a little smaller and tilted a little further up, besides that, I absolutely love this project.
