This project is of two bowls. I am going to be donating one of these bowls and right now I am leaning toward donating the larger bowl with the dripping glaze from the rim because I think it looks very nice and will hopefully be enjoyed by somebody. Both of these bowls were glazed with an unknown glaze which looked pink in the bucket but had no name on it at the time. I took a chance, thinking that they would end up pink, but to my surprise, it was a beautiful celestial blue color. I glazed one bowl with only that blue, and the other with that blue on the top rim, and in small strokes at the bottom, then covered it with clear. I love the strokes that the bottom of the larger bowl because they give it more personality than if it were glazed with only one color. I think that the plain blue bowl would have ended up looking a lot better if I dripped the blue glaze on the inside and then glazed with clear. When I threw the bowls, I forgot that they would shrink significantly, I am happy that I made them larger than I normally would because they ended up being the perfect size. I feel like Both of these bowls are very good quality and that the larger one might be one of my best bowls I have ever made because it is not too think on the bottom and I love the shape of it.
